New Port Richey Main Street recently celebrated the dedicated volunteers who help bring its events, programs, and downtown initiatives to life during a special Volunteer Appreciation Night.

The private, invitation-only evening began at The Kangaroo, where volunteers gathered for food, drinks, and an opportunity to connect outside of their usual committee meetings and event responsibilities. Food for the evening was provided by Steamworks Pub, while The Kangaroo provided a complimentary first drink for each guest.

Following the reception, attendees made their way to the Sims Park Boat Dock for a sunset cruise along the Cotee River. Guests enjoyed beautiful views, refreshments, and time together as the sun set over Florida Gulf Coast.

The evening was designed as a heartfelt thank-you to the volunteers who contribute their time, creativity, and energy throughout the year. From supporting major events and community programs to serving on committees and assisting behind the scenes, volunteers play an essential role in the continued success of New Port Richey Main Street.

“Our volunteers are truly the heart of our organization,” said Nathan Ward, Executive Director of New Port Richey Main Street. “So much of what we accomplish would not be possible without their commitment and willingness to step in wherever they are needed. This evening was our opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and show them how deeply appreciated they are.”
