The annual event that brings thousands of people to our unique shop in downtown New Port Richey\, Florida will be Saturday May 2 opening at 10 AM and going all day long! FCBD is always the first Saturday in May! \nSix Strings and Superheroes will be giving away THOUSANDS of comic books published by Marvel\, DC\, Image\, IDW\, and other comic book publishers printed exclusively for this event. \nEvery family that attends will not be going home with just one\, two\, or even five comics\, but a bag full of comic books!! \nThis is the most comics that we have ever given away for FCBD and are hoping to meet the demand. \nAll cosplayers that show up in costume will be given a ticket and entered into a drawing to win prizes at the end of the day! \nComic artists Sergio Cariello\, Scott Reed\, and Scott Spillman\, will be attending along with Brian and the crew from Alpha Omega Certification! \nWe have guest signings all year long and some really exciting surprises to announce after FCBD!!\nParking is located behind our building in the city parking lot and there is NO fee to park. Also there is a parking garage as you turn onto Main Street two blocks away from the store with shuttles that will get you here and back within minutes. \nLocal businesses in the downtown New Port Richey area will be graciously donating gift certificates/gift cards to us for Free Comic Book Day and we will be randomly putting them into FCBD bags\, so make sure to check your bag of comics before you leave to see if you are one of the lucky ones that got something cool from our awesome neighbors! \nWe can’t wait to see everyone and look forward to another fun filled Free Comic Book Day!
