The curtain is about to go up on “Nothing On,” if the cast can just remember which door to use, where they left the sardines and whether they are supposed to be on stage at all. Michael Frayn’s Noises Off comes to Richey Suncoast Theatre this November, directed by Kelly McGuire and Jess Glass.

The Play Within a Play That Goes Completely Off the Rails

Noises Off takes you behind the scenes of a hapless touring theatre company as a bad dress rehearsal spirals into backstage sabotage and total on-stage collapse. Slamming doors, missed cues, flying props and tangled romances collide in what has been called the funniest farce ever written.

Why You Don’t Want to Miss It

Nonstop laughs: A razor-sharp comedy of errors that builds to pure, breathless chaos.

A love letter to live theatre: See what really happens when everything that can go wrong, does.

Master-class timing: Slamming doors, split-second entrances and one very unlucky plate of sardines.

A great night out: Perfect for date night, friends and anyone who loves to laugh.

A Farce in a Historic Theatre

As Richey Suncoast Theatre celebrates its 100th year, there is something fitting about a comedy that celebrates the chaos of putting on a show, performed in a theatre that has been entertaining New Port Richey since 1926. Make it a night out: grab dinner downtown on Grand Boulevard, then walk over to the show.
