Colors of the River – A Canvas of Waterways & Imagination

Join New Port Richey Main Street for the 3rd Annual Art on Main: Chalk & Artisan Festival on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, as Downtown New Port Richey transforms into an open-air gallery filled with color, creativity, and community.

This year’s theme, Colors of the River, draws inspiration from the waterways that shape our city—past and present—while encouraging artistic freedom and imagination. Chalk artists from across the region will create large-scale works directly on the streets, interpreting the theme through history, movement, emotion, abstraction, symbolism, or personal storytelling. Artworks do not need to depict a literal river; instead, they celebrate the ideas, stories, and energy that flow through our community.

In addition to live chalk art, the festival will feature:

• Live chalk art creations throughout Downtown
• An artisan vendor market in the park, showcasing handmade and creative goods
• Live entertainment and music
• Local dining and shopping just steps away
• Artist awards ceremony at 4pm, located behind The Hacienda

Art on Main is a family-friendly event that invites visitors to stroll, watch art come to life, meet the artists, and experience Downtown New Port Richey in full color.
