Downtown New Port Richey turned up the heat during Fourth Friday with the first-ever Best Downtown Wing Contest. Attendees sampled, voted, and helped crown Backdraughts as the People’s Choice winner, making for a flavorful night of friendly competition, community, and local pride.

Fourth Friday brought the flavor — and the heat — to Downtown New Port Richey as New Port Richey Main Streethosted its first Best Downtown Wing Contest, inviting the community to taste, vote, and crown the ultimate wing champion.
Participating restaurants served up their best wings while attendees picked up VIP wristbands and scorecards, making their way downtown to sample each entry and cast their votes. The atmosphere was lively, competitive, and full of community spirit — exactly what Fourth Friday is all about.

After tallying the votes, Backdraughts was officially crowned Best Downtown Wings, earning the title Voted Best Wings Downtown by the People. Congratulations to their team for bringing the flavor and taking home the win!
