Yesterday, the City of New Port Richey proudly hosted its annual Veterans Day Parade—an event that brought the community together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country.
Residents lined Main Street waving flags, cheering, and showing their appreciation as veterans, color guards, local organizations, marching bands, first responders, and community groups made their way through the downtown district. The parade served as a heartfelt reminder of the sacrifice, service, and strength embodied by our veterans and their families.
Local businesses opened early, families filled the sidewalks, and downtown was filled with red, white, and blue pride. From classic cars to military vehicles to youth groups marching in support, the evening carried a spirit of gratitude that resonated throughout the entire route.
New Port Richey continues its long tradition of honoring veterans not just on Veterans Day, but throughout the year—and yesterday’s parade was a powerful testament to the unity and appreciation found in our community.
To all who served: thank you for your courage, dedication, and service.
