What is the Comprehensive Plan?
According to City Planner Gabriela Miagany, the Comprehensive Plan establishes a framework for meeting the city’s growth and needs over the next 10 and 20 years. The process combines data about current conditions and future projections with public input to develop goals, objectives, and policies.
The resulting plan serves as the foundation for the City’s planning efforts and decision-making. By participating, residents can help ensure that framework reflects a shared community vision.

If you’re unable to join the workshop, the New Port Richey 2050 Comprehensive Plan Update Public Input Survey is a great alternative for sharing your thoughts. Residents can participate in the survey, attend the workshop, or do both.
