By submitting an entry to the Design Downtown Art Challenge, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Original Work

I confirm that the design I am submitting is my own original work, created solely by me, and does not infringe upon or incorporate any copyrighted, trademarked, or licensed material belonging to any other person or entity.

I also confirm that my submission does not include:

• AI-generated artwork
• Stock graphics
• Clip art
• Pre-made templates unless specifically created or significantly modified by me in a way that establishes new originality.

2. Rights Granted to New Port Richey Main Street, Inc.

If my design is selected as a winner, I hereby grant full and exclusive ownership rights to New Port Richey Main Street, Inc. (NPRMS). This includes:

• Full copyright ownership
• Unlimited reproduction rights
• Rights to modify, adapt, crop, recolor, resize, or otherwise alter the artwork
• Rights to use the artwork on merchandise, apparel, promotional materials, digital media, and any other commercial or non-commercial products
• Rights to use the artwork in marketing, fundraising, and branding efforts
• Rights to license the artwork to partners or vendors

I understand that NPRMS will own the design permanently, and I will not receive royalties, future compensation, or revenue share from merchandise or sales.

3. Rights for Non-Winning Designs

Non-winning designs remain owned by the artist, however, by submitting an entry, I grant NPRMS:

• A non-exclusive license to display my submission online, in printed materials, in event showcases, and across social media
• Permission to use my name, image, or likeness—only in relation to promoting the contest

Artwork will always be credited when feasible, unless displayed as part of a collage or group presentation.

4. Artist Recognition

NPRMS agrees to make reasonable efforts to credit the winning designer on announcements, contest materials, and initial merchandise reveal posts, but is not required to print the artist’s name directly on merchandise.

5. Eligibility

By submitting, I confirm that I am 16 years of age or older, and that I live, work, or study in Pasco County or the surrounding area.

If I am under 18, I confirm that I have parent/guardian consent to enter.

6. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless New Port Richey Main Street, Inc. and its representatives from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from:

• Copyright or trademark disputes
• Unauthorized use of protected material in my design
• Breach of this agreement

7. No Guarantee of Prize or Use

I understand that:

• Submitting an entry does not guarantee selection, display, or prize winnings
• NPRMS may disqualify any entry that violates rules or contains prohibited content
• NPRMS is not obligated to use any submitted designs on merchandise

8. Consent & Agreement

By signing below, I confirm that:

• I have read and understand all terms in this agreement
• I voluntarily submit my artwork to the Design Downtown Art Challenge
• I grant NPRMS the rights outlined above
• All information provided by me is truthful and accurate
